communities, alleviating international poverty, promoting community
development and providing emergency relief.
UnitingWorld has community partnerships in: Cook Islands,
East Timor, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Nauru North
Korea, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Korea,
Sudan, Taiwan, Thailand, The Philippines, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu,
Zambia and Zimbabwe.
UnitingWorld has oversight of all the releif and
develepment projects supported by Lent Event, ensuring your tax
deductible donation has the greatest impact.
UnitingWorld is a signatory to the Australian Council for International
Development (AFCID) Code of Conduct. Donations to Lent Event

West Epping Uniting Church
West Epping Uniting Church is where Lent Event was born. A
congregation member, Sarah White felt God calling her respond to
extreme poverty and mobilised her to act with the program
innovation now known as Lent Event. West Epping Uniting Church
proudly support Lent Event as their mission and provide valuable
human resources, office space and funds to this program. Thank
